Mike Butler joined Goodwill Industries of South Central California in June, 2010. Mr. Butler had spent the previous year as the Vice President and Director of Operations of PathPoint, Kern Division. Mr. Butler has experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, and he implemented the much-needed Community Service Cooperative at California State University, Bakersfield. Mr. Butler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from CSUB, and he currently is in the final stages of earning his Masters Degree, also in Psychology. Mr. Butler is currently a member of the Bakersfield Breakfast Rotary Club, and Mayor Harvey Hall's HIRE Executive Committee. |

Charise Tidwell joined Goodwill Industries in August of 2009. She started her career over 12 years ago working as a Group Counselor with Kern County's Protective Custody Facility. She has over 8 years in nonprofit experience from working in a parenting program with incarcerated parents and social services, to working for health organizations doing event planning and fundraising. Ms. Tidwell also worked in the placement and employment arena where she worked with clients on job readiness skills and placement services to employers within Kern County. She has her Associate's Degree in Psychology from Bakersfield College and also attended the University of LaVerne where she studied Organizational Management. |

Tammy Reynolds jumped into the nonprofit world of service after 8 successful years of journalism and marketing for our local community. She has partnered in the past with the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. She is currently active with HEARTS Connection, Kern Autism Network, and the Autism Society of America. She is on the planning committee for Meet Your Special Neighbor, participates with United Way's FISH program, and Mayor Hall's H.I.R.E. Committee. She has just completed her Benefits Planning Certification. |

Tiffany Miller started working for Goodwill Industries in August of 2008 after completing her Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Bakersfield. Ms. Miller has been involved in numerous community groups and has assisted recreational leagues by heading fundraising committees. She has been involved with the Boys and Girls Club, heading and helping develop an after school activities program for students at the elementary grade level. Her knowledge base of business start-up comes from the hands on experience she has obtained from helping launch several community businesses. She has gained substantial knowledge of the financial aspect of business from being actively involved with small businesses in the community as well as from educational courses obtained during her time in college. |

Anita Orozco joined Goodwill in February 2008. She comes to the Bakersfield area from Ventura County where she worked in Social Services for over 9 years, including 5 years as a Family Resource Specialist for First Five of Ventura County. She worked at a local nonprofit social services agency in Bakersfield as a Community Organizer in the rural areas of Kern County and also provided direct social services and resource linkage to families within the community. Ms. Orozco has a credential in Family Development and is also a Certified Healthy Families Applicant Assistant. |

Stephanie Leathers retired from County of Kern, Kern Medical Center in 2003 with over 23 years experience with Intake, Data Entry, Medi-Cal Applications, Breast Exam Certifications, Insurance verification and authorizing various state funding programs. Stephanie has experience in leadership, organizational and communication skills and working with a diverse population. In 2004, she received a Certificate of Completion/Certified Chemical Dependency of Substance Abuse Counseling from Dr. Ruth Matheson’s Institute in Woodland Hills, Ca. In, 2009, Stephanie received her Bachelors Degree of Science in Human Services from University of Phoenix, Bakersfield, California. |

Candi King joined Goodwill in December 2009. She comes to the Bakersfield area from Western Kentucky where she worked as a District Manager/Cosmetologist for a Hair and Tanning Salon. Her recent employment experiences include an accounts payable lead clerk for an Oil Well Servicing company and a Staffing Manager for a local Recruiting firm. Ms. King attended AIU where her major was Business Administration and Marketing. |

Zella Pettaway has over 25 years experience in the medical field and is a seasoned educator. Zella has also supervised and mentored both employees and clients and believes in being involved in the community. Mrs. Pettaway is a graduate of San Joaquin Valley College, certified as a Registered Medical Assistant through the American Medical Technologist. Zella also holds a Business Clerical Certification from Bakersfield College and many other prestigious awards and certifications.

Alexandra Ford joined Goodwill Industries of South Central California in September of 2009. Her previous experience includes a background in the staffing and recruiting field, specializing in job placement in the local community for the past 3 years. Alexandra's collaborative work experience includes customer service, call center, administration & staffing/recruiting. Alexandra has over 5 years of experience working with a diverse group of customers, employees, and clients in a multitude of industries. This year she decided the next step in her career would be taking all of the learned skills and applying them to assisting the overall mission of Goodwill Industries. She continues to utilize knowledge of job placement, training, and skill development to aide those seeking assistance in their search for long term employment. |

A native to Bakersfield, Rosemary joined Goodwill Industries in September of 2009. Rosemary previously worked in an acute psychiatric setting providing intensive case management, crisis intervention, and group facilitation to adults in varied states of psychiatric crisis. Prior to working in mental health, Rosemary worked in field of education as a driving instructor, and as an instructor for students with autism. Rosemary currently holds her Associates Degree in Psychology and is working to complete the coursework for her Bachelors in Psychology from Cal State University Bakersfield. In her spare time Rosemary is an avid motorcyclist, riding mentor, and advocate for motorcycle safety and awareness. |

Timothy Esquer was bitten by the non-profit bug earlier in 2009 and had many years of working in the for-profit arena. Timothy has 15 years of janitorial experience in which he specialized in commercial floor maintenance. Timothy also comes to Goodwill Industries with 10 years experience in the Auto Body Repair industry in which he managed the parts and production departments at these local businesses. |

Addy Rodriguez holds a Bachelor's of Science in Human Services and has over 15 years experience working within the greater Bakersfield community. For 8 years she instructed special needs children in their homes and in the classroom. Ms. Rodriguez' experience also includes 6 years in the retail industry where she led her department and specialized in customer service throughout all departments within the retail business. |

Treven Fry joined the Goodwill Industries team in September of 2009. He comes to us from the San Joaquin Valley. For 7 years, Treven was involved with a performance team, Break the Barriers, which included serving individuals with various types of disabilities. Mr. Fry has a strong background in music studies. In addition, Treven has 2 years of work experience with the deaf and hard of hearing community. He provides ASL interpreting services for the Goodwill Industries team. |

Emily Baumruk joined the Goodwill family in 2009. Miss Baumruk comes to Goodwill with experience leading an after-school program for elementary-aged children, performing Behavior Therapy with children diagnosed with Autism, and working as a pre-school teacher. Miss Baumruk earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from California State University, Fresno. |

Windy Van Natta holds a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Communications and a minor in Marketing from California State University, Bakersfield. Additionally she holds certificates in Electronic/Visual Communications, Computer Imaging, and Human Resources. Before joining Goodwill in March of 2007 Miss. Van Natta worked with California law enforcement administration and in their criminal justice unit. Also, Miss. Van Natta worked along side the marketing team for Kern County Board of Trade to assist in promoting tourism and bring filming to our community. |

Tamar Anthony joined Goodwill in January 2010. She comes to Bakersfield from Washington, DC where she worked as a marketing consultant for small business while attending Johns Hopkins University pursuing her Master of Science Degree in Marketing. Tamar Anthony is a specialist in marketing with an emphasis in marketing strategy, marketing research, and customer service. Ms. Anthony has worked in the customer service industry well over 15 years and prides herself on the knowledge of how consumer behavior and research along with excellent service affects the long range success of a business. Tamar has a passion for service and giving back to her community. She enjoys the opportunity to assist people with special needs obtain their dreams of owning and successfully operating their business. |

Joshua Mayorga joined the Goodwill staff in November of 2009. Joshua grew up in Lamont, California and now resides in South West Bakersfield. After high school Joshua turned down a soccer scholarship and joined the Army in 2003 and in 2006 Joshua then left the regular Army and joined the California Army National Guard here in Bakersfield. Joshua has been deployed to Afghanistan from 2004 to 2005, supported in the relief efforts of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and from 2007- 2008 was deployed to Iraq. Joshua's greatest contribution to all three missions was bringing stability and liberation to those in need. Joshua is currently in his last year at California State University of Bakersfield where he is working on his B.A in Criminal Justice and a double minor in Sociology and Business. |

Brenda Williams has a very diverse background having had a Realtors License, Certificates and experience in Accounting I, II, III, QuickBooks and Medical Billing and Coding, HR, Restaurant Management & Office Management. Business knowledge has come from owning and managing numerous small businesses, currently an Agriculture-based business. Ms. Williams has also worked in Arts in Education for five years. Volunteering in the special needs community has always been an enjoyment for Ms. Williams. |

Lupita Quezada has an Associates Degree in Business Administration. She has managed departments at local retail stores and has experience as an Associates Coordinator. Ms. Quezada has some knowledge in Accounting and QuickBooks through her college curriculums. Ms Quezada became involved with Goodwill’s Workforce Development through her internship. Ms. Quezada enjoyed and became engaged with Goodwill’s ideas and interest in helping a variety of individuals grow in the community. |

Debbie Stewart is truly an example of believing in Goodwill Industries- Power of Work. She started in Goodwill's Retail Skills Training Program 9 years ago. After her training concluded she was hired on to work as a Goodwill Employee. After many years in various positions and promotions, even becoming a Store Manager, she felt it was time to start over and give back what Goodwill had given to her. In January of 2010 she became a Job Coach in Goodwill's Workforce Development Department and is now mentoring new employees and helping them establish career's they never knew they could have. |

Christina Shinabarker came to Bakersfield from the Monterrey Bay Area in 1985, where she worked for a Law Firm. She has 7 years experience in the medical field and 2 years with the Kern County Crime Lab working with Proposition 36 and CPS Programs. She came to Goodwill in January of 2010 to share her knowledge and expertise with newly employed people that Goodwill has helped find jobs. |

Jessica Hernandez joined the Goodwill team November 2009. She attended California State University of Bakersfield where she majored in Child, Adolescent, and Family Studies and minored in Psychology. Prior to joining Workforce Development, Miss Hernandez worked for the Bakersfield City School District as a kindergarten after-school activity leader. The experience of success and achieving goals to help others is something Jessica takes great pride in. |

Kristi Ashley came to Goodwill in December 2008 with four years of experience in human services. Prior to joining the Workforce Development team, she worked in Bakersfield at The Centre for Neuro Skills as well as The Mentor Network. Kristi loves helping others achieve their goals and seeing them succeed is what makes her job the most satisfying and rewarding thing she's ever done. |

Mildred Aldan joined the Goodwill family in January of 2006 starting as a material handler at the Stine Warehouse. In May of 2007 I was promoted to a Warehouse Supervisor at the Union Warehouse also serving as a Safety Representative for that location. In October of 2008 I was able to become part of the Work Force Development Team were I am now a Job Coach serving our mission statement daily by working one on one with individuals. Since I’ve been here at Goodwill I’ve been in the areas of warehouse, transportation, retail and now services. I received an Associate’s of Science Degree in Business Administration from San Joaquin Valley College in July of 2008. I enrolled at DeVry University in October of 2008 were I am currently a full time student working towards my Bachelor’s in Bus. Admin with a minor in HR Management. |

Valerie Valenzuela stared with Goodwill Industries August 2009. Working side-by-side with our clients as a Job Coach she brings 9 years experience in retail and customer service field. Ms. Valenzuela holds a Bilingual Certificate in Spanish as well as a Cosmetology License. |

Vanessa Cadena joined Goodwill Industries in May of 2009 as a temp. transportation coordinator/receptionist and now work at WFD as a program services clerk. I hold a certificate in banking and finance for the regional occupation center.I have 2yrs experience in banking and finance working at ESD Kern Schools Federal Credit Union. I have over 5yrs experience in the retail field. I am currently working on getting my certificate of completion at Bakersfield College. |

Kitty Johnson joined the Goodwill Industries team in January 2010. Kitty worked 8 years at Tulare District Hospital's Emergency Room before moving to Bakersfield. Kitty has 10 years experience working in Telecommunications and prior to Goodwill worked 2 years at The American Heart Association. Kitty enjoys working where everyday we make a difference in someone's life. |
